Ive broken my ligament in my knee, will i get crutches?

A while ago i feel of a high building and the past few weeks my knee keeps dislocating, I went to the doctors and he suspects that I have broken the ligament in my knee and I'm going to hospital next month to get it seen to and possible surgery, Its painful to walk on, Will i get crutches if i have the surgery, And if it's not broken what will they do & will i get crutches still?
